International Journal of Research in Pure and Applied Microbiology is devoted to publishing reports on prokaryotic and eukaryotic microorganisms such as yeasts, fungi, bacteria, archaea, and protozoa. Research on interactions between pathogenic microorganisms and their environment or hosts are also covered. The research should be original and include molecular aspects to generate a significant contribution of broad interest. Studies in the following sections are included: bacteriology, phycology, mycology, and protozoology, molecular biology, microbial genetics, microbial physiology, microbial biochemistry, microbial structure, microbial taxonomy, food microbiology, industrial microbiology, medical microbiology, epidemiology, public health, diagnostic microbiology, enzymology and enzyme engineering, fermentation technology, plant and animal cell cultures, bioprocess engineering, biomedical sciences, microbial ecology, and environmental microbiology. In addition to original research articles, short communications/notes, concise and current review articles are also welcome. All contributions shall be rigorously refereed and selecting on the basis of quality and originality of the work as well as the breadth of interest to readers.
